Hotstar New Plans Explained

Disney+ Hotstar has announced three new subscription options starting from September 1st. The video streaming service appears to have upped the price of the VIP package and made it a mobile-only option. The premium plan's pricing remains the same, while the service has added one new plan.


  • The most basic "Mobile" package will cost Rs 499 per year and will support only one device. The basic Disney+ Hotstar VIP package costs Rs 399 earlier.


  • The second plan offered by Disney+ Hotstar is the "Super," which costs Rs 899 per year. Two devices are supported under the plan. On both subscriptions, users will enjoy HD video quality.


  • The Disney+ Hotstar "Premium" package costs Rs 1,499 per year and provides customers with 4K content. It supports four different devices.
