After the government extended the deadline from September 30, 2021 to March 31, 2022, Aadhaar linking with PAN is now possible till March 31, 2022.
In light of the problems individuals are facing as a result of the coronavirus epidemic, the I-T department extended the deadline for connecting PAN-Aadhaar from March 31 to September 30 earlier this year.
If a person fails to link their PAN card to their Aadhaar card, it will become inactive.
If your PAN card stops working, you won't be able to perform financial activities that need you to provide PAN. According to a CBDT regulation dated February 20, 2021, once the PAN is connected to Aadhaar, it would become operational again from the day the PAN is linked to Aadhaar.
